SUSTAINABILITY

A sustainable village

OUR SUSTAINABILITY JOURNEY

Starting from 2023, we decided to undertake a path towards greater sustainability, following the international standard of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council.

This framework drives us to assess the sustainability of the structure not only from an environmental point of view, but also from a managerial, social, economic and cultural perspective.

At Rosapineta Sud we are committed to continuous improvement of our sustainability, through an increase in positive impacts and a reduction of negative impacts generated by our activities.

THE INITIATIVES
THE COMMITMENT TO THE ENVIRONMENT

Ecological and efficient purchases

We select low-impact supplies: A4/A3 paper certified FSC/PEFC with Ecolabel, ecological pens in reception and single-use and biodegradable items in restaurants.

In laundry we use sustainable detergents with dosers to avoid waste.

We limit packaging and single-use items by dispensing water to reduce tap water consumption, invite people to reuse towels and provide reusable bottles and hot water for staff.

Water Savings

In the heart of the Po Delta, where the Po and Adige meet the Adriatic, water is a resource to protect.

We reduce consumption with aerators in showers, flow reducers on taps and drip irrigation in green areas — less waste, same comfort.

Local, Sustainable and Fair Supply Chain

With the village partners we promote short-chain catering: traditional recipes prepared with local products (Scardovari mussels, Adriatic catch).

The menu also includes vegetarian and vegan options. We support ethical choices with certified references, such as Bio-Organic coffee "La Riserva de Tierra Alteco" by Lavazza, with four environmental and fair-trade certifications.

Local Culture: Conservation & Promotion

We enhance the heritage of the Po Delta by supporting the Rosolina Band – Philharmonic "Vincenzo Bellini" – and collaborating with local partners (Raffaello Navigation, Po Delta Service Consortium, IAT) for excursions and itineraries.

At the structure you will find brochures and digital guides to the main sites: Archaeological Museum of San Basilio and Adria, Bonificia Museum of Ca' Vendramin, Ocarina Museum and Cathedral Museum of Adria.

Conservation of Biodiversity, Ecosystems and Landscape

We care for the Po Delta with responsible visits and clear information: we set destination guidance lines, explain how to correctly interact with wildlife on site, collaborate with local guides, install refuges for animals (such as bat boxes) and support the WWF. We are implementing new projects with territorial associations to protect habitat and species over time.
